The Little River Campground provided the perfect setting for this relaxed outdoor wedding. Nestled among trees and beside the river, it felt as though nature itself was part of the celebration.

The entire day felt effortless. It wasn’t about creating a Pinterest-perfect wedding. It was about creating a wedding that felt like them. And honestly, that’s what makes a wedding unforgettable.

There were beautiful vintage elements woven throughout the day.
The bride wore a stunning vintage-inspired dress that perfectly matched the relaxed atmosphere of the celebration.
One of my favourite details was the collection of vintage glasses used during cocktail hour. Family members had spent time collecting them from op shops, creating a unique and charming look that guests absolutely loved. Every glass was slightly different. Every table felt personal. These small touches brought so much character to the day and reflected the creativity and care that had gone into planning it.
Another meaningful detail was the classic car belonging to the bride’s father. More than just transportation, it became part of the story. The bride had unfortunately lost her father a few months earlier, and having his car was like having him with them. These are the kinds of details that add layers of meaning to a wedding day. Years from now, the photographs won’t simply remind the couple what the car looked like. They’ll remind them who it belonged to and why it mattered.

Just as we began bridal party photographs, a storm appeared seemingly out of nowhere. Dark clouds rolled in. The wind picked up. Rain arrived. For some couples, this could feel stressful. But not for these two. They embraced it completely. Thankfully, I always come prepared. I had brought several clear umbrellas with me, just in case. And they ended up being incredibly useful. What happened next was one of my favourite parts of the entire day. Instead of hiding from the weather, we worked with it. The rain added atmosphere. The wind brought movement. The dark clouds created drama. And the clear umbrellas became part of the story! The resulting photographs felt cinematic, emotional, and unique.
Honestly, some of my favourite wedding photographs have happened because something didn’t go according to plan. Perfect weather is lovely. But unexpected weather often creates something even more memorable. Sometimes the best photographs come from the moments nobody planned for.
